Dark Matter eLiquid
Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.
Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.
Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Summary: "Very nice!"
I owned a yogurt maker years ago when I was vegan and there were zero non-dairy yogurts in the stores. Yes, I know you *can* make yogurt a variety of ways with every contraption from a crockpot to a pot on the stove, but at the time I lived in a tiny postage stamp sized apartment and worked 80+ hours a week. I needed convenience over creativity (plus I admit, I'm a kitchen gadget whore).
Somehow in moving across the country and back I lost that old yogurt maker. No idea where it went. Might have also gotten lost in our massive basement flood when a water main broke when 6+ feet of sewage backed up into the basement (it was quite impressive if you google Montrose Avenue Collapses there are great pics (btw--we live many blocks away in a very populated area so no safety worries about posting something nearby, thanks)). Now we have a puppy that consumes massive amounts of organic yogurt daily (helps her immune system, growth plates, she's spayed, etc) and my husband and I also eat quite a bit (me because I'm pregnant and my husband loves it for a snack especially when frozen with fresh berries from our garden). I also like to cook and bake with yogurt whenever possible. So I miss my old yogurt maker, but needed some changes.
My old one was one single container which would mean I'd be making daily batches and never get caught up. The pup eats whole milk while I'm more of a skim milk or even lactose free milk kinda gal (milk for yogurt doesn't matter but I do have to drink only lactose free milk). Plus I sometimes like flavored yogurts and the pup doesn't need that. The husband enjoys soy milk yogurt but since I was recently diagnosed with hashimoto's I try to limit my soy. This is a great way to make everyone happy and is fun to play with.
Our first batch came out kinda wonky because I was playing with milk types and temps, and halfway through I got distracted. Still tasty and quite edible, just not exactly how I wanted mine (I prefer more of an european yogurt while the husband prefers his thicker like greek). So I used that portion of "mine" to make frozen yogurt and it was excellent. I even bought the extension tray and extra jars to make more in less time. So far it's been fun and well worth it. Hoping to try even more recipes for our baby in the future too!

Summary: "Great for us"
This yogurt maker has worked well for me. I used to have one that made two quarts at time, however we have an apartment size fridge now and it's much easier finding room for the smaller glass jars than a two quart size container. I like the glass jars as we're attempting to get away from plastic. The yogurt itself tastes awesome! So far the maker works great for me.

Summary: "temperature too hot, ruining my yogurt"
After ruining about 10 batches of yogurt and tearing my hair out trying to figure out why, I found out--the temperature of this yogurt maker is too hot. It seems to be ok during the middle of incubation, but toward the end gets too hot. I just tested my yogurt at the end of incubation last night and it was 117 degrees. No wonder it's curdling!
It's too bad because it's well-designed. I suggest that before trying yogurt, put water in the jars, set it for 7 hours, then test the temperature at the END of the 7 hours to make sure it's well under 110. Otherwise you'll have baby barf yogurt like I do.

Summary: "Love it!"
It's easy to make great yogurt and this machine has consistently produced wonderful, thick, creamy yogurt. I like mine sour and tart, so I do not add sweetener. I keep it in the machine for about 11 hours and I use organic 1% milk. I use it to make salad dressing as well as spoon berries into it and mix it with muesli in the morning. It's also great with almonds and a small drizzle of organic honey. I highly recommend this product.

Summary: "don't need this"
This machine is an unnecessary rip off. We have been making yogurt for years -- with no machine necessary -- once you make your yogurt in the pot on the stove just like you would for this machine, instead of putting the yogurt in the special cups in the machine, PUT A COVER ON THE POT and leave it there for about 3 hours (5 in the winter when it is cooler) -- you will have made yogurt. You do not need a fancy machine, or any machine at all, just some milk, yogurt starter, a pot, and a stove.
